Initially, this game causes conflicting feelings. Initially, it seemed that this was a banal survival game, which also costs money on Google Play. But after the launch of the game, everything turned out to be completely different, this is a pixel farming simulator.
Story line
The plot begins with the fact that the grandfather gives the child an envelope, but asks him to open it only if city life is completely tired.
Over time, namely after 20 years, when the main character is already working for a large company, he realizes that this does not bring any pleasure. Everything goes routinely, the hero comes to the office and looks at the monitor, sorts through papers, and there is practically no time for rest. And at one point it gets very annoying, and he stumbles upon an envelope from his grandfather. Inside, he sees a letter that says that once the grandfather himself was tired of life in the city and decided to return to the Stardew Valley, where he created his farm, where he found peace and became happy. And this farm passes into the possession of the hero.
Further, having collected quite a bit of money, the character is transferred to this farm. He is immediately met by Robin, a carpenter who builds a lot and loves to talk. New faces are extremely rare here and they are always welcome, so Robin accompanies the hero to the farm and shows everything. And then a new job begins.
Dream farm
It all starts with character creation and your own farm. The peculiarity of Stardew Valley is that the customization is quite extensive, you can choose a variety of hairstyles or eye color, accessories, and so on. There are even certain items, a pet of any breed, and so on.
But it is quite difficult to decide on the type of farm. Initially, there were 5 options to choose from, but with updates, 2 more have come. Each of the options has its own strengths and some features, so you need to study everything first and only then make a choice.
Extensive features
It’s not so easy to say everything unambiguously about the gameplay, because you can do absolutely everything that you like. As the basis of the game, of course, farming. But over time, it becomes clear that you can also fish, there are mines where there are monsters, you can gather. So everything is not limited to one farm. And the game does not try to limit the player in anything.
Although the set is initially small, because there are only fern seeds, you need to grow and sell it, and then buy new seeds. But initially there is not enough for everything, not only time, but also strength, so you need to save. But over time, the situation will improve.
